Production:  Sourced from very old Carignane  and Grenache vines from the best priorats vineyards. These vineyards have an exceptional slate soil, locally known as “licorella” and are located on steep slopes and high elevations. The grapes were hand picked and hand selected,  grain by grain, on a double sorting table, so only the best were picked. Fermentation takes place in 15 and 30 hl. stainless steel and oak vats.The wine has been aged for 15 months in new fined-grained, medium and lightly-toasted French oak barrels and followed by another 11 months in bottle before its release. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.  

In Ferrer Bobet there is a great respect for the expression of the terroir, their aim is to make top quality Priorat wines, that will reflect with elegance, freshness and harmony, the mineral essence and complexity of the region.

Note: It is recommended to decant before serving.  It will gain even more complexity with the time in bottle. Drinking nicely now or during the next decade.
