Production: Sourced from Grenache vines which have been farmed by biodynamic methods. Manual harvest and hand selected. Fermentation in concrete tanks. Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.
Tasting Notes: Beautifully-intense aromas of mature fruit with a distinct spiciness and hints of violet. Fresh and soft, balsamic, silky textures, spiced black fruit.

A family winery, still producing wines 200 years later, run with great success by the new generation of Joan D’angueras, Josep and Joan. Not only the wine knowledge and culture has been passed on from generation to generation, but also the legacy of passion and determination for mixing tradition with innovation, preserving this way the values and the roots of the family’s culture and carrying them on from Fathers to Sons.
From their love and respect to the land they inherited, they always have used products which are respectful to the environment, obtaining wines which reflects all the purity of the area where it comes from. For this reason in 2009, the winery initiated a process of conversion of its vineyards, following the biodynamic methods of agriculture in their land. Today the Demeter certification has been accredited to all the wines from Joan D’anguera, insuring strict compliance with the international Demeter Production and Processing Standards. As from the vintage 2012 the certificate will be present on the back label of all its wines. All the wines are certified by the Consell Català and comply with all their rules and regulations.
