Production: Since the end of the 70’s Enrique Mendoza has been making wines from his own vineyard, in Finca Chaconero, situated in Villena (Alicante) where the plants are growing with an environmental friendly technique, without using herbicides or insecticides.

Las Quebradas, 100% Monastrell, comes from a single estate “Las Quebradas” planted with very old vines of over 70 year-old growing on rocky soils high in chalk at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. It has fermented in small lots in square vats using autochthonous yeast and aged during 15 months in French Oak Barrel

Tasting Notes: Toasted and smoky aromas combined with herbal tones like thyme. Full bodied, dark fruits, black pepper and toasted notes. Finesse, elegance and power. Great expression of Monastrell. Long and warm finish.
