Vi Novelle meaning "new wine", marks the arrival of the new vintage and is reminiscent of festivities and traditions. Every year, Celler Masroig presents this popular wine with a different label as the wine itself differs from one year to the next.

Production:

This year's blend of Grenache and Carignan, elaborated following the process of carbonic maceration, whole grapes uncrushed fermented at high temperature of 30ºC, the result is a wine with a bight, clear red colour, clean and dense, and a nose of great intensity, freshness, and fruitiness, with some lactic and balsamic notes on the background. On the palate, displays youth and freshness; it is smooth, fruity and straightforward, round and easy-drinking.

Celler El  Masroig is one of the best-known wineries in the Montsant region. It dates back to 1917 and today comprises over 200 members with approximately 500 hectares of vineyards in property, which makes it one of the largest cellars within the Origin Montsant designation.
