Production:  Aged for 5 months in 100% medium toasted new French oak barriques.

Relatively new winery, founded only in 1996, located close to the village Pedrosa del Duero in the heart of the Ribera del Duero Region. Pago de los Capellanes is divided into 35 parcels, from which their grapes are vinified separately, the soil is made up of clay and chalk. In their vineyards only grow Tempranillo or Tinto Fino grapes, the variety indigenous of the region. They only harvest 5000 kg of grapes per hectare, well below the 7000 kg allowed by the Regulatory Council of the Ribera del Duero Region, to guarantee the highest quality.

Tasting Notes:  Freshness on the nose, red fruit and a touch of oaky notes. Rich and velvety with ripe tannins and a lingering finish.

Notes:  Drink now and up to 3 - 5 years.
