Notes: It shows a great potential for aging. Drinks very well now and over the next 10 - 12 years. Matching perfectly with rice, all sort of red & white meats, grilled, stewed, or roast, poultry, smoked seafood, blue and cured cheeses, casserole dishes.

The vineyards are located northwest of Jumilla, it consist of 350 Hectares own owned of which 120 hectares surround the winery and the rest are scattered in small parcels, always within the area called “Termino de Arriba” a perfect zone for wine growing, at an altitude between 700 – 850 meters above sea level and on sandy, chalky, rocky soil on the surface and very poor in nutrients. Monastrell is the main variety grown, native to Jumilla and perfectly adapted to the climatic conditions in this area, which it is used in all the wines produced in the cellar.
