Production:

Organically farmed and sourced from a single plot, known as Mas Torrent, located in the area of Vila dels Masos de Falset, just in the border with the D.O. Montsant.  The vineyards are planted on Licorella soil, the characteristic Slate, which gives the wines of the DO its authenticity and identity.
The wine has been aged for 18 months in 4000 liters French oak tanks.  The wine has been bottled without clarification or filtering. 

 

Tasting Notes: Forward and elegant wine, lovely fresh nose of integrated black fruits and oak, overlaid with minerals and hints of spices in a warm deliciously smooth, fresh, friendly wine, marked tannins and liquorice notes on its long lingering finish.

Note: It is recommended to decant this wine before serving. For consuming over the next 10 years.
