Elaborated by The Montebaco winery, exclusively using grapes grown on the estate's 50 hectares. The Monte Alto Estate is located on hillsides at about 850 – 900 meters high at the heart of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, between the main towns, Valbuena del Duero and Pesquera.

Production: 

A blend of Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) with just a tiny percentage of Merlot (10%).

After a traditional vinification, the wine ages for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:  Juicy ripe fruits in a supple, smooth and light wine; fruit-driven with a touch of toasted notes and very fine tannins.

Notes:  Drink now and up to 3-6 years.
