Production: The vintage 2016 sees changes int he elaboration of the wine, this will be the first vintage where the wine has not seen any oak,  fermenting and ageing exclusively in concrete deposits.  Elaborated from old vines grown around the village of Porrera. Each variety ferments separately in concrete and will spent another 6 months in the same deposits, to follow with another 3 years of ageing in bottle.

Tasting Notes: Fresher feeling displaying red fruits, mineral and species. Palate round and smooth, good weight, intense with volume, perfect balance of acidity and dryness.

Note: It can be drunk now and over the next 6 – 7 years.

THE PROJECT

Les Cousins is a label made by two cousins, Marc & Adrià Perez. They started this new project together in 2007, located in the village of Porrera, within the appellation of Priorat. They both have gained wide experience working and studying in various vineyards and projects abroad, including the Cims de Porrera project and the family's vineyards and winery (Mas Martinet), which have made them well-known in the winemaking sector.
