Garmon is a singular Tempranillo blend maded from a selection of 30 to 100-year-old-vines grown in smallholdings from five different villages located on both banks of the river at an average altitude of 900 metres above sea level.

Aged 16 months in barrique with an increased percentage of used barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Profound with nerve and very expressive. Clean fruit, subtle floral, savoury, dark berry fruit. Soft tannins, integrated oak.

Notes: The wine has considerable ageing potential.

Garmón Continental  is the third project of the García family (founder of Bodegas Mauro in Tudela del Duero and San Román in DO Toro and a well-known and reputable vigneron, who for 30 years was the technical Director at Bodegas Vega Sicilia). This is a passionate and exclusive family-run project thanks to the exceptional teamwork of Marino García and his two sons, Alberto and Eduardo.

The project is based in the valley of the Duero, under the denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero. A project fully committed to  ancestral, smallholder viticulture based on old vineyards located in higher and cooler areas where the maturity is slower and the harvesting is much later, resulting in fruit with more expression, elegance, and juiciness.
