Winemaking: Grapes sourced from different plots, all harvested on the same day. Co-fermentation of all the varieties together, both white and red varieties in the same vat for 24 hours with native yeasts. Destemmed, lightly crushed. The wine rests for 8 months in stainless steel vat.
An author wine, natural with no sulphites added, bottled unfiltered. Production of 3618 bottles.
Tasting Notes: Presents a bright pinkish colour, reminiscent of a Claret Wine, quite juicy with plenty of red fruit. On the palate is fresh and dry, layers of fruit and good acidity. Slightly earthy touch. Suitable for Vegans
Celler Tuets is a small family winery in Aiguamurcia, a small village situated in the Alt Camp area in the province of Tarragona. The creator of the wines is Albert Domingo, a passionate and enthusiastic young winemaker, whom together with his father work the family estate, 70 hectares of land which have been in the family’s hand over six generations, of those, 22 ha are planted with vines on predominately calcareous soils at an altitude between 500 – 600 meters above sea level. He elaborates a range of single varietal wines to highlight the singularity of each variety and the soil where it comes from. The wines are organically farmed using biodynamic principles of which Albert is very fond of. They have been practising organic farming for a long time and since a few years the farm has been fully certified organic. Albert’s philosophy is zero intervention, manual harvest, vinified in stainless steel vats, fermentation with natural yeasts, no finning, stabilisation or filtering, sulphite and additive free.
