Production: This Brut Nature has been elaborated using the autochthone grape varieties of the Conca de Barberà region: Macabeo and Parellada, manual selected from their own best vineyards. Second fermentation in bottle and remaining on its lees for a minimum of 18 months.
This is a small family winery, with roots that can be traced to 1781, as recorded in the history archives the family has been dedicated to growing vines ever since the 18th century. Today the family owns 80 Ha. Of vineyards in the Conca de Barberà and it is run by Carles Andreu, whom in 1991 and continuing with the family tradition, established the actual Bodega that bears his name in the village of Pira where they elaborate a nice selection of cavas and wines of a great quality.
Tasting Notes: Youthful, approachable but with a strong personality. Straw yellow in colour with greenish tones, persistent bubbles. Aromas reminiscent of fresh white fruits, pears and pineapple with touches of dry herbs. Smooth and fresh, with good fruit and acidity which gives it a refreshing finish.
Notes: Best consumed up to 12 months after disgorgement date.
