Production: The Vermuth Cala Marisca comes from a small celler in Sitges, Barcelona, a very small project by a Mguel A. Diaz Soriano, following an old recipe, slightly transformed to elaborate de actual crafted Cala Morisca. This is a red vermouth made from the white variety Macabeu, which has gone through a long maceration process with the aromatic plants and it is from there it gets its bright, dark toasted color. Aromatized with herbs and species which include wormwood, cinnamon, orange, lemon, coffee, cardamom among others. It goes through a maceration for 30 days stirring continuously. The result is a fresh and fun to drink vermuth, displaying herbaceous notes, cinnamon combined with clear citric and spicy notes. Sweetness and bitterness in balance.
Perfect as an aperitif or as a base for cocktails, to be served on ice with orange peel.
