A personal project of Ester Nin and Carles Ortiz, an excellent white wine of small production, a skilful blend of grapes coming from a single and unique vineyard called “La Sinia de Selma”, located at 750 meters of altitude at the village of Pla de Manlleu in the Alt Camp, Penedés, vines planted over more than a decade and growing on soils of clay and limestone predominantly. it is commercialised without any Denomination of Origin Seal because of the grapes used for its elaboration.
The wine is organically farmed using biodynamic principles, with a great emphasis in the respect of nature and the expression of the terroir. Respect of the environment makes itself throughout the winemaking process, from the grape harvest down to the bottling. The grapes are hand harvested and hand sorted. Barrel fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured for 8 months with its lees in 225 liters oak barriques followed by some time resting in bottle. Total production of 1404
Tasting Notes: Dry white wine, very expressive, warm, fat and mineral, white fruit and citrus notes, weighty, good acidity with a lovely long dry finish.
Notes: It is recommended decanting or letting the wine breathe in the glass in order to achieve Its maximum flavours. Good aging potential.
