Production:  The young white wine from Mas D’en Gil Viticultors in Bellmunt, a grenache based wine complemented with small proportion of Viognier. Grapes sourced from the younger vines planted in 2000 and 2008 and located in the Vall of Bellmunt, classified as “Vi de Vila” (Village Wine), the new legislation introduced in 2009 by the DOQ Priorat, which recognises and protects each region’s different characteristics, viniculture, climatic, soil, etc. with the purpose of highlighting their own characteristics.

Mas D’en Gil, owned by the Rovira Family since 1998, is a 125 ha. estate situated in the municipal district of Bellmunt del Priorat, in the south of the historical Priorat area, of which 45 ha. are planted with vines on terraces and hillsides, located at 300 meters above sea level on licorella soils, the distinctive Priorat´s slate soil.

Tasting Notes:  Clean and fresh, lively fruitiness displaying floral notes as well, mineral with revealing Mediterranean herb touches and a hint of spiciness. Good balance. Finishing long and fresh.
