Production: Cims de Porrera wines are still made in the village co-operative of Porrera and this team have produced yet another excellent wine with the balance and harmony of a wine made with a great care, wines that truly reflect the characteristics of the Priorat region. Produced from a blend where the White Grenache plays the main role, Picapoll, Pedro Ximénez and Macabeu grapes sourced from the youngest vines. Hand-picked, fermented in new barrels and concrete vats, matured in concrete vats and glass demijohns for 9 months.
Elaborated as “Vi de Vila" from Porrera, the new legislation introduced in 2009 by the DOQ Priorat that recognises and protects each region´s different characteristics, viniculture, climatic, soil, etc. with the purpose of highlighting their particular characteristics.
Tasting Notes: Fresh with good aromatic complexity, honeyed citrus fruit aromas. Abundance of ripe fruit, pears and quince type with a bitterish minerality and good acidity, floral hints and fresh herbs in a long smooth finish.
