Production: Les Valls Matarraña is a single varietal of Grenache, sourced from vines 20 to 25 years old vines, a wine from the new project of Jaume Roca from Celler Ficaria Vins in La Figuera del Montsant – Tarragona. A project that produce excellent quality wines based in the zone of Matarraña – Arenys de Lledó in Teruel, where Jaume works low-yielding old vines cultivated following the organic and biodynamic principles and practicing sustainable viticulture, with minimum intervention and always respectful of the environment.

Fermentation takes place in steel tanks and will spend 3 months with its fine lees in steel tanks. 900 bottles where produced in the 2019 vintage.

Tasting Notes: Aromas redolent of stone white fruit, herbaceous touch and balsamic. Soft-texture with volume, generous in mouth, good acidity nicely supported by a balance between de fruit and the bitterish touch.
