Production: 

A blend of mainly Viura with just a little percentage of Malvasía Riojana from own vineyards planted on clay soils in the village of Briones with an average age of about 55 years.

Fermentation in new French oak barrels for 28 days at 20 ºC with indigenous yeasts.

Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, the first seven months with its lees, stirring twice a week, and afterwards another seven months without lees.

Bottled with soft filtration and without clarification.

Tasting notes: Elegant, delightful grapefruit and stone fruit scented nose, herbal, lemon and honey with some balsamic notes. Succulent, and light with a mineral touch and a persistent fruity finish.

Notes:  Drink now through 2028. It will gain more complexity with time in bottle.
