Elaboración: En el cultivo de la viña se utilizan exclusivamente abonos orgánicos y productos naturales. La vendimia se realizó manualmente. Fermentación en depósitos de acero inoxidable durante 20 días.
Notas de cata: Aromas frescos de frutas rojas, fresas dulces y grosellas, con tonos herbáceos de hierbas de monte. Sabroso y bastante goloso. Buena acidez.
Nota: Para beber durante los próximos 1 - 2 años.
THE WINERY
Celler Bàrbara Forés is a family-owned winery that dates back to the 19th century. It is named for its original founder and winemaking, a pioneer of the 19th century, Bàrbara Forés (1825-1905), who, together with her son Rafael Ferrer, built the bodega and equipped it for bottling wine, which was something rare in that century.
Actually, the winery is in the hands of their descendant Carmen Ferrer and her husband Manuel Sanmartin. They who took control of it in 1994, restored it and made it work again. Later in 2019, their daughter Pili Sanmartín joined the family business, bringing with her a fresh approach that encorauges the dialogue of wine with the arts, which will be reflected in the new line of wines she produces.
