Production: Cellers Tarroné is a small family-run winery located in the small village of Batea in the province of Tarragona and within the Denomination of origin Terra Alta. It comprises of 35 ha. of vineyards distributed in six different plots with soils of a clayey and chalky nature, poor in organic matter and located at an altitude of 350 – 500 meters above sea level, enjoying the Mediterranean climate with a continental influence. The wine is now organically farmed and duly certified by the authority CCPAE the Catalan Council of organic production, the public watchdog responsible to the ministry of Agriculture of the Catalan Government

This young white 100% Grenache has been manual harvested at the optimal ripening time. Controlled fermentation at 18ºC.

Tasting Notes: Pale yellow in color, displays an aromatic nose with notes of exotic fruit, mango and pineapple and revealing floral notes as well as some citrus touch. On the palate just the right level of acidity with marked fruit-floral complexity and a slightly bitterish finish.

Notes: Best enjoyed in youth over the next 1 -2 years. Combine very well with appetizers, cheeses, shellfood, fish, rice, and as an after meals.
