Production: Produced from a blend of mainly White Grenache with a smaller proportion of Pedro Ximenez and Macabeo, sourced from vineyards planted on "Licorella" slate soils in the steep hillsides above the village of La Vilella Alta, at the heart of the Priorat region. Only 50% has fermented in oak. Aging for 3 months, 50% in new French oak and 50% in stainless steel vats. The process of vinification and ageing has been overseen by Michel Tardieu and Philippe Cambie.
Tasting Notes: Beautifully aromatic nose of predominately citrus and white flowers with a characteristic mineral touch. Subtle with a splendid integration of acidity, minerality and volume. On the palate displays a fresh character with floral and mineral notes and deliciously persistent.
Notes: Should evolve for another couple of years and drink over the next decade.
