Matraketa Blanc is a single varietal of white Grenache grapes from the family's own vineyards located in the municipality of La Figuera, in the Montsant region.

This is the first white wine of Ficaria Vins, of very limited production. Only 1011 bottles were produced in this vintage. Made in a natural style. Fermented with native yeasts and aged for four months on the lees in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes:

Fresh and mineral wine with scents of white fruit and stone fruit, white flowers, and citrus undertones. Rich and creamy on the palate, with a touch of acidity at the end.

Following the philosophy of Celler Ficaria Vins owner, Jaume Roca, all work is carried out with respect to the environment, with little interventions and always adhering to organic and biodynamic guidelines.

El Celler Ficaria Vins is a member of the "Gremi de Vinyataire Lliures", an organisation created to give voice to and defend the interests of independent wine producers, small viticulturists-producers manly of natural and biodynamic wines who do not belong to any Denomination of Origin.
