The Trimbach family, a well-known family in Alsace with origins dating back to 1626, is the top producer owning land in Ribeauville, Haut-Rhin, Alsace. The winery is located in a privileged natural setting, with the sunny terraces overhanging the Rhine Valley and the hills of the lower Vosges offering protection from the wet west winds.

Trimbach has remained a family-owned winery over the centuries; today it is controlled by the 13th generation, and it has earned a highly regarded reputation across the world for aromatic, pure, and refined wines.

Tasting Note: 

Bright pale with hints of gold colour. Perfumed and aromatic nose, distinctive spicy aroma, and flavour with hints of lychees, grapefruit, and rose petals. Dry, low acidity combined with high alcohol and glycerol gives an impression of sweetness, fruitiness, and smoothness with a spicy finish.

Notes: Potential ageing 5 years minimum. Try it on its own or accompanying soft and strong cheeses and fresh fruit. It is a great complement to spicy, Chinese, and exotic dishes.
