Dragons is a single varietal Syrah wine made by Celler Xavier Artiol–Vins Mas Carlets, a small family-run winery in Masos, in the municipal district of Falset (DOQ Priorat).

The vines planted on granitic soil with deep licorella, worked ecologically in the Coll de Porrera area, an estate with vines about 20 years old, located within what is the Xarxa Natura 2000 in Priorat, an area of great diversity, both in plants and animals.

Macerated with the skins for 15–18 days. The wine has aged for 18 months in French oak barrels from the 3rd and 4th years. Bottled May 2023, a very small production of just 280 bottles.

Tasting Notes: 

Fresh, it reveals aromas of blackberries and ripe cherry fruit, spicy and mineral with a touch of herby edge. Soft and fruity on the palate, with good acidity and rounded tannins. A flavorful and fresh finish.
