2 Roses of Mas Carlets is a blend of Syrah in higher proportion and Grenache produced in small quantities, from ecological vines from their own finca, 25 years old Syrah vines and 15 years old Grenache vines, located in the zone of Coll de Porrera, north facing and growing on Llicorella soils. The wine is made by Celler Xacier Artiol – Vins Mas Carlets, a small family winery in Masos, in the municipal district of Falset (DOQ Priorat). The wine has aged during 16 months in French oak barrels of 3er and 4th year. Low in Sulphites 10 – 15 mg/l. 2400 bottles produced.

Tasting Notes:  Fruity and fresh with a ripe black fruit scented nose, spice, slight floral notes and mineral. Soft and fruity on the palate with good acidity and rounded tannins. Flavorful and fresh finish.
