Production:  From more than 60 years old vines of Grenache and Samsó (Carignan), located in the municipal district of El Molar, Tarragona, comes this new project Saurí, elaborated by Antoni Sanchez Ortiz  in charge of this tiny but very interesting Project, professional in the wine business and fully committed to quality. Antoni has a formidable Curriculum when it comes to winemaking and brings his formidable experience and youthful passion to the making of this beautifully crafted wine. He is also the winemaker and viticulturist in Melis – D.O.Q. Priorat and in Terrer d’Aubert, D.O. Tarragona, both mid-sized wineries that bet on quality winemaking.    

This Artesan red wine, Saurí, is made following a soft extraction during the fermentation to ensure greater balance and allowing to create a harmonious wine with a distinctive and attractive personality. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels of 600 litres after that it will  spent 6 months resting in stainless steel. The vineyard is organically farmed since 2007.

Tasting Notes:  Beautiful fruity nose with rich scents of mature black fruits and hints of jam and spice notes. Easy going texture, displays forward dark fruit, smooth, flavoursome wine, sweet fruited and smooth tannins.

Notes: Drinks beautifully now  up to 3-4 years
