Production:

Young red wine elaborated from the local grape varieties Grenache and Samsó (Carignan), traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with no wood ageing.

Tasting Notes:

A rounded, friendly wine. A youthful palate full of cherry fruit flavours, displaying a marked Mediterranean character with an easy-going texture.

Notes: Best enjoyed in youth over the next 1-2 years.

Celler El Masroig is one of the most well-known wineries in the Montsant region. It dates back to 1917 and today comprises over 200 members with approximately 500 ha of vineyards on property, which makes it one of the largest cellars under the denomination of Origin Montsant.
