Production: 

The Dardell is a red organic wine, a blend of mainly black Grenache (80%) with a touch of Syrah (20%), both sourced from the finca “Les Comes d’en Bonet”. Fermentation in stainless steel for 15 days at 23 ºC.

Tasting Notes: 

Clearly displays the typicity of the Grenache grape variety, excellent fresh fruit, and aromas. Good structure and intensity, refreshing acidity, and fruit flavours to the end.

Note: Best enjoyed now in its youth or over the next 1-2 years.

THE WINERY

Coma d’en Bonet belongs to the Fuster Amades family, a family with a long winegrowing tradition from the village of Gandesa, within the Terra Alta denomination of origin, in the province of Tarragona, south of Catalonia. Now they are farming and producing their wines organically. They work 28 ha of vines divided in different plots and growing in the characteristic clay-calcareous soil, very poor in organic matter. All their wines are fully certified organic by the Catalan Organic Farming Council (CCPAE).
