Production:

Grapes from the vineyards of San Román de Hornija, Villaester, Morales de Toro in stony and sandy-clay soils.

Aged for 24 months in 225 and 500 litre French and American oak of different ages.

Bottled in February 2022.

We recommend decanting this wine two hours ahead. It can be drunk now and over the next 10-12 years.

Tasting Notes: 

It has a rich concentration of black fruits (black berries and black cherries), spices, liquorice, chocolate, and a distinctive mineral nose. Robust and powerful on the palate, with plenty of lively tannins and bite. Great length and elegant finish. It needs food.
