Identitas is a single varietal white wine of Subirat Parent, a variety of the Malvasies family, selected from the best grapes of this variety native to the area.

The grapes come from the "Bastards" vineyard with vines over 60 years old and is ecologically farmed in the municipality of Puigpelat in the Alt Camp of Tarragona.

Production: 

Harvested by hand, selecting the best bunches. Fermented with its lees in chestnut wood barrel for 3 months, followed by six months resting in bottle. 

Tasting Notes: 

Bright golden yellow colour. Aromas redolent of mature fruit with a subtle floral hint and aromatic plants of the area. Dry and unctuous on the palate, with a hint of honey and acidity that allows it to evolve for a long time.

Note: This is a wine to be enjoyed over the next 2-3 years.

CELLERS BLANCH

With origins dating back up to 300 years, the winery has a long history of their ancestors all-life work and dedication to farming and growing wines in the area.

As time changed and there were signs of a new impulse for quality wine in the region, the family started producing and commercialising wine back in 1965. Now that the third generation has recently taken the reigns, they are growing and adapting to the changing times.

From the family winery in the village of Puigpelat, a small village in the province of Tarragona, they produce a range of good-quality wines with encouraging results and an emphasis on local types. They are limited quantities of honest wines under the Tarragona Denomination of Origin, marked by the character of the grape varieties and the terroir where they come from.

All the wines are produced from a selection of the best grapes sourced from their own vineyards. They work with great care and respect for the grapes throughout the winemaking process, from the grape harvest down to the bottling.
