Sangenís i Vaqué is a small family-owned winery, making a range of high-quality wines from their own vineyards in Porrera - DOQ Priorat.

Sangenís i Vaqué has, since 1978, been making wines in Porrera, Pere Sangenís and Conxita Vaqué have been combining tradition with new techniques. Today, their two daughters, María and Núria Sangenís, have also joined the team and, along with Pere, share the responsibility of producing great  wines.                  

The vineyards are located in the district of Porrera within the Priorat Qualified Designation of Origin, on the family-owned lands dating back to before 1700, on terraced hillsides formed by the famous “llicorella” (slate schist land). The combination of poor land and a dry climate (550 mm) results in minimal production and thus maximum quality.
