El Ciclon Serrano is blend of Rufete as the main character, followed by Calabrés and Rufete Blanco. Produced from old vines growing in 7 different localities in La Sierra de Salamanca, vineyards with different terroir and orientation and poor soils composed mostly of granite, sand and slate, at an altitude of 650 metres above sea level.

Production: 

Manual harvest. Spontaneous fermentation in open stainless-steel vats, fully clustered with native yeasts, and finishing off in 500-litre French oak barrels. Aged, partly in the same barrels for up to 10 months and the rest in stainless-steel tanks.

Tasting Notes:

Young, fresh, with fruit-laden aromas, especially of plum and strawberry, with a marked herby edge. Light and fresh on the palate, fruit with some earthiness and a rustic touch.
