Production: From natural and ecologic viticulture comes El Cairats Selecció, a blend of Grenache and Samsò, autochthonous varieties from a single plot, 3 ha of own vines planted in 1971 on stony, clay soil in the hills overlooking the municipal district of Els Guiaments at an altitude of 180 - 250 metres above sea level. The grapes are harvested by hand and follow a strict selection process both in the vineyard and at the cellar.

Fermentation takes place in small stainless-steel vats with the skins for 15–20 days and spends 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.

Clarified with egg white albumin and bottled by decantation according to appropriate lunar phases.

Tasting Notes: Elegant nose of red fruits, balsamic, spicy and smoky touches and a mineral background. Broad and soft on the palate, with a refreshing acidity and fine, almost sweet, tannins.

 Note: It will drink nicely during the next 8-10 years.
