Vinyes Domènech was founded in 2002 by the Domènech family, originally from Falset. The winery and its 15 ha of vineyards are located in the village of Capçanes, within the DO Montsant. The vines are growing in an idyllic landscape at 500-550 meters above sea level, protected by the Montsant Mountain Range, and surrounded by natural forest, which creates a favourable microclimate suitable for wine growing. The winery was built based on sustainable development criteria, using bioclimatic construction material, and choosing less contaminating products accepted by the ecological vineyard. They have bet on the "green cellar" concept, which is an integral concept of the entire process, which embraces the ecological vineyard, the bioclimatic architecture, and the green technologies to sum up the eco-development.
