Marge is the Celler's second wine, made from grapes grown on their own estate, "Mas d'en Ferran", a 5 ha plot of 2- to 3-metre-wide licorella fractured slate terraces.

Production:

It is a blend of mainly (50%) Grenache, with the rest made up of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan (Samsó) and Syrah aged 12 months in a combination of French Allier (2^nd and 3^rd year) and new American oak.

Tasting Notes:

Rich and complex aromatic nose, scents of black raspberry, blueberry, and black cherry, subtly mineral with hints of floral notes. Full-bodied and softly textured, creamy and very pleasant, with rich, mature, dark berry fruit flavours that linger in the aftertaste.

CELLER DE L'ENCASTELL

A small family-run winery located in the village of Porrera, D.O.Q. Priorat. In 1999, the Castellví-Figuerola family renovated the old family townhouse to accommodate the winery and begin producing their own wines. They personally carry out the entire process of the operation. They make wines from grapes sourced exclusively from their own estates, "Mas d'en Caçador" and "Mas d'en Ferran", which have been in the family's hands for several generations and have been dedicated to growing grapes sold to other wineries.
