The Speyburn distillery was established in 1897 in the very heart of Speyside. Built by John Hopkins in a prime spot in the steep wooded glen by the Granty Burn, a place ideal for making exceptionally smooth whisky, with abundant pure water and the rich natural elements of this region of Scotland. To this day Speyburn remains the only distillery to draw its water from this major tributary of the River Spey.

Speyburn 10 year old is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a combination of hand-selected American oak ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.

The resulting whisky is a deep, complex and well-balanced single malt of medium body, with flavours of fresh fruit, hints of toffee and butterscotch, and a long, smooth, sweet finish.
