A very innovative and artisan dry vermouth from Catalonia, a vermouth with a unique flavor and personality, crafted in Priorat, Catalonia,

BCN Mut Barrel Aged is made from premium quality white wine from Catalonia, old vine white Grenache grapes from the Terra Alta region. The Base wine is macerated with freshly cut selected Mediterranean botanicals during 3 to 9 weeks and fortified with a base spirit of distilled Priorat red Grenache and Carignan wine lees.

Ageing takes place in a 425-litre French oak barrel for 9 months. The production is very limited, just 500 bottles were made. Each bottle is numbered.

The result is a very dry and complex vermouth with botanicals flavors such as cinnamon, elderflowers, Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary, thyme, fennel, juniper berries with a backbone of acidity and orange zest bitters perfectly integrated.

A perfect aperitif, to be served simply neat or on the rocks with a lime twist and a green olive. Once the bottle is opened, is recommended to keep chilled for 3 to 6 months
