Production:

A hand-crafted vermouth elaborated by De Muller in Reus (Tarragona) following the same original recipe used from its very beginning.

A selection of oak-aged wines aromatised with typical Mediterranean roots and aromatic plants. Long ageing in small oak foudres, which have been used previously to age their “Vino de Misa” De Muller, and also in French and American oak barriques from their wines in Priorat.

The result is a smooth and quite aromatic vermouth, marked by its Mediterranean character, spices, herbs, liquorice, raisins, caramelised notes, and sweet sensations intermixed with the pleasant bitterness towards the end, which gives it a long and remarkable aftertaste.

Note: Ideal as an aperitif. To be served cold with ice and orange peel.

THE WINERY

Founded in 1851, De Muller is a top name in Tarragona, very well-known worldwide for being the supplier of the traditional Mass wine and for its rancio and fortified wines. At present, De Muller offers a very wide range of quality wines under the Denomination of Origin Tarragona, as well as in Priorat and Terra Alta. Since the beginning of 1996, the winery surrounded by its vineyards has been located in the finca "Mas de Valls" in Reus (Tarragona). Their modern installations have a capacity for a production of four million litres, and here they elaborate the Tarragona Denomination of Origin wines, all sourced from their 150 ha of their own vineyards. They also have a property in the village of El Molar, in the southeastern part of el Priorat, with 34 ha of vineyards, "Mas de les Pusses", and a new cellar with a capacity for 500,000 litres, where they produce the Priorat Denomination of Origin wines.
