Gin Mare is a new Super Premium Gin and the first from Catalonia. It was launched in 2010 in a small village on the Costa Dorada, Catalonia, by Global Premium Brand in collaboration with the Giró family, well known in the area for the MG Distillery.

All the botanicals except the citrus are macerated individually using neutral grain alcohol and individually distilled in a copper pot still. Along with the traditional botanicals such as juniper or orange peel, it uses other more uncommon ingredients sourced within the Mediterranean area, such as Aberquina olives, basil, rosemary, and thyme, which give it its unique and distinctive character and a Mediterranean fragrance, highlighted by herbal notes, especially rosemary and citrics. Good depth of flavour with a long and lingering thyme finish.
