Caol Ila is a small Islay distillery, located in a hidden cove near Port Askaig and overlooking the Sound of Islay. Founded in 1846, it has changed hands several times over its history. Today, although Caol Ila’s spirit is a key component of Diageo’s blends, it is growing as a single malt in its own right.

Caol Ila is characterised by its smoothness and fine balance. Fresh and fruity with spicy sea-air aromas and sweet, smoky, peaty flavours.
