Tomatin can be considered the softer side of the Highlands.

Since 1897, Tomatin Distillery has been a quiet revolution unfolding in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Characterised by its patience, a gentle hand, and a passion for purity, which rules the day at this idyllic spot up above the smooth, rounded peaks of the Monadhliath Mountains. Here, they benefit from the naturally soft water of the Alt-na-Frith, a small burn that rises in the mountains uphill from the distillery.

The 12-year-old single malt whisky from Tomatin is gently matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Spanish sherry casks. The use of these carefully selected casks ensures that the softer characters of this precious spirit are never overshadowed, allowing its subtle personality to emerge.

Tomatin's 12-year-old is classically smooth and full-bodied, with scents of wild heather, pine, and cedar, as well as revealing notes of crème caramel with apples, pears, and mango. Finishing with a buttery touch.
