Production:

The albariño grapes from which Abadia San Campio is made are sourced from the plots at Goian (Argallo), the highest vineyard, where the humidity is lower, the temperature is cooler, and the ripening of the grapes is much slower.

Tasting Notes: 

Vibrant with ripe white fruit, apple, pears, grapefruit, and citrus flavors. Dry and beautifully crisp on the palate, it show a good balance of acidity and fruit. Long, persistent finish.

Notes: Best enjoyed over the next 2 years.

Terras Gauda Winery was founded in 1990 and is now a fairly large operation by regional standards. Both the winery and its 70 hectares of own vineyards are located at an altitude of 50–150 meters above sea level, in a privileged landscape in the O’Rosal Valley, close to the mouth of the river Miño in the A Guarda Area, just across from its neighboring Portugal. The vineyards enjoy an exceptional microclimate that is marked by mild temperatures, very little frost, and abundant rainfall.
