Mas Escorpí is an estate wine sourced from two single vineyards: Mas Escorpí and El Serralet, two of their most prominent estates located in higher lands in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. It undergoes a long fermentation of over 43 days at a controlled temperature of 14º to 15ºC. Ecologically farmed and Demeter certified.
Mas Escopí is the chardonnay of the Gramona Family, under the label of Infanterrible, relating to Jaume Gramona, the oenologist of 5th generation of the Gramona Family. With a nonconformist and outspoken personality, he has been in charge of the winemaking since the 80s. All of the Infanterrible wines are conceived from practising organic and biodynamic agriculture.
Tasting Notes: Clean, fresh aromas, fresh fruit with lemon and lime notes and floral tones. Complex and unctuous with layers of flavours, good fruit weight and balanced, refreshing acidity. Intense aftertaste.
