Cava Llopart is one of Spain's oldest Cava Houses. They elaborate their cavas at the family’s country estate “Can Llopart de Subirats.”

Today, Cavas Llopart are consolidated as a high quality product, remaining true to their roots by using exclusive craft elaboration methods in accordance with the strict traditional “Champenoise” system.

Cava Llopart is one of Spain's oldest Cava Houses; the family’s history dates back to 1385, and the first cava Llopart bottles were produced in 1887 at the old country house cellar. Located in the Heredad "Can Llopart de Subirats" in the same municipality of Subirats.

Despite a difficult beginning due to the phylloxera plague at the end of the XIX century, they managed to pull out together with great efforts and hope, introducing the most suitable grape varieties to elaborate high expression and complex cavas.

Today, Cavas Llopart are consolidated as a high quality product, remaining true to their roots by using exclusive craft elaboration methods in accordance with the strict traditional “Champenoise” system. They elaborate their cavas at the family’s country estate “Can Llopart de Subirats”, situated in a mountainous area, geologically formed 22 million years ago, and where a large number of molluse fossils have been discovered. The well-balanced grounds with a moderate level of nutrients and organic compost, as well as the appropriate microclimate with moderate rainfall, create the perfect environment for vine cultivation, resulting in concentrated, balanced grapes of great fineness that define the personality of all their cavas and wines.
