Produced using only grapes from Quinta do Noval's own vineyards, located on the steep hillsides in the winding valleys of the Douro river in northern Portugal, considered one of the most promising wine regions in Portugal.

Production:

The grapes are manually selected, trodden by foot, and fermented in the traditional "lagares" of the quinta.

Noval Tawny 20 years is a blend of old ports from different vintages that have matured in oak casks for an average of 20 years.

Noval’s 20 year old Tawny has an elegant bouquet reminiscent of dried fruits and almonds, which gives it a distinctive character. Perfectly balanced with an elegant smoothness and high concentration.

Notes: Filtered. It contains no sediment and does not need to be decanted. Perfect as an aperitif, with cheese, desserts, or on its own.

Quinta do Noval is one of the most famous quinta in the port industry and is well-known throughout the world for its port wines. The Quinta occupies a privileged position above the Pinhão Valley, in the very heart of the Douro Valley, and its earliest recorded history dates back to 1715. The vineyard comprises 145 ha, planted with the noblest grape varieties of the Douro: Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Cão, Sousão.
