Serving Temperature: 16º - 18º

Cumal is 100% Prieto Picudo, the indigenous variety for excellence in León, sourced from centenary vines growing on poor soils at 850 metres above sea level.

Production:

Hand-harvested bunch by bunch. Grapes selected at the sorting table, fermented with natural yeasts for approximately 28 days and aged in new French oak barrels for 10 months.

Tasting Notes:

Lovely deep ruby color. Has complexity, body, and length; backed berry fruit, subtly spicy with hints of violet and rose. Palate ripe, round with velvety tannins, notes of wild berry fruit, bakery flavours and noticeable spiciness.

Notes: It is recommended to let it breathe for a short time or decant before serving. A wine that will last for some years.
