Serving Temperature: 16º - 18º

Cumal is 100% Prieto Picudo, the indigenous variety for excellence in León, sourced from centenary vines growing on poor soils at 850 meters above sea level.

Production:

Hand-harvested, bunch by bunch. Grapes selected at the sorting table, fermented with natural yeasts for approximately 28 days, and aged in new French oak barrels for 12 months and another 12 months in bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Lovely deep ruby color. Has complexity, body, and length; backed berry fruit, subtly spicy with hints of violet and rose. Palate ripe, round with velvety tannins, notes of wild berry fruit, bakery flavours, and noticeable spiciness.

Notes: It is recommended to let it breathe for a short time or decant before serving. A wine that will last for some years.
