The cellar's reference wine, Terra d’Hom, is a blend of Carignan, Syrah and Merlot that has spent over 18 months ageing in French oak barrels of different ages, both new and used.

Elaborated by Celler Ardèvol in the village of Porrera, in the heart of the highly acclaimed wine region of Priorat. The vineyards are scattered around the municipality of Porrera, with 10 ha of vines growing in very poor soils composed of llicorella and producing very low yields. Their wines go through long macerations and gentle pressings, ageing in French oak barrels afterwards.

Tasting Notes: Quite deep in colour, almost opaque, intense and aromatic, smoky and mineral, opulent ripe dark fruit, dark cherry, and spices. On the palate, it is warm and generous with complex notes of spices, liquorice, and tannins that are noticeable but not overpowering.

Ripe enough to enjoy now, but still a long way to its best. Will continue to improve in the bottle, gaining complexity and maturity.
