Titi belongs to the Bodega’s range of wines elaborated under the DOQ Priorat. A blended red wine made from grapes grown on the property.
The winery is a small family-run winery in Morera del Monsant that focuses in producing artisan wines. It was founded in 1999 by Ramón Alzamora and his son, also named Ramón Alzamora. The winery produces wines in both the DOQ Priorat and DO Montsant from their own vineyards. The vineyards are located in a privileged natural setting at the foot of the Montsant mountain range, with soils composed of llicorella.
Production:
Titi is a crianza red wine with an excellent quality-price value, made with grapes from the property from regenerative agriculture. The wine is named after the family home, "Cal Titi", and is a tribute to the father, Ramón Alzamora Juncosa, who passed on the importance and significance of remembering the origins.
Tasting Notes:
The nose is marked by aromas of red and black fruits and balsamic with a toasted edge. On the palate, it has warm, ripe, earthy and meaty flavours with good acidity and minerality. Finishing long and persistent.
