Crafted from old-vine Macabeo, Xarelo, and Parellada vines, the Penedès' traditional varieties. Harvested manually, with traditional slow fermentation in stainless steel. Minimum ageing of 30 months. Non-added expedition liqueur. 100% vinified in-house.

Tasting Notes: 

Small, fine bubbles. Elegant, vibrant and refined, it presents layers of flavours with ageing notes of toast and freshly baked bread. Elegant and creamy, displaying ample ripe fruit, dried fruits and bakery notes, with good acidity and a great balance throughout the palate. Generous in style and length.

Note: Ideal as an aperitif, it also combines well with Iberian ham, cold meats, seafood, fish and meat sauce dishes, rice, meat, and semi-cured cheeses.

THE WINERY

Celler Pere Ventura was founded in 1992 in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia. The cellar that bears the founder's name is dedicated to the production of sparkling wines under the DO Cava Denomination. The Cellar is one of the most prestigious wineries in the DO Cava. It has deservedly earned great recognition both nationally and internationally for its enormous commitment to high-quality cava production. The winery is investing largely in innovation to complement the production process of its cavas in the traditional method.

Caves Pere Ventura is one of the wineries belonging to the family group "Pere Ventura Family Wine Estates", a company that produces and markets its own wines and cavas. The group was founded in 1961 in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia by Pere Ventura, who comes from a family with a long winemaking tradition. The group produces high-end estate wines and cavas of great international prestige.
